Il progetto fa parte del collettivo artistico lordsofnothing.

Nasce nel 2020 da un’idea del produttore e docente di storia del mercato musicale Francesco ”Nayl” De Santi, dalla vocal designer e docente di tecnica vocale Giulia “Jungla Samba” Sanna, e dall’attrice e docente di dizione e public speaking Chiara “Chiarhappy” Benelli.

Attraverso la forma -spesso sottovalutata nell’ambito della divulgazione- del live set/DJ set, s’impegna a portare al pubblico un’esperienza coinvolgente che scava nelle profondità del folklore popolare del nostro territorio.

Lo scopo di MUNDIAA non è riproporre sterilmente ciò che fa parte delle nostre radici culturali e musicali, ma di reinterpretarle e decostruirle, per rinnovarle. Portare nel futuro il suono ancestrale di un passato che riecheggia fino ai giorni nostri.

L’intera performance porta con sè tutto lo spirito rituale-pagano-mistico delle celebrazioni folkloristiche della penisola.

Maneggiandone timbri, ritmiche, e strutture armoniche,
sottolinea la palese congruenza che esiste tra un mondo antico e le contemporanee manifestazioni rituali della
Rave Scene.

MUNDIAA è il fumine che porta il fuoco, ma che usa la fiamma ardente per scrutare tra le tenebre.

The project is part of the artistic collective lordsofnothing.

It was born in 2020 from the idea of producer and music market history teacher Francesco “Nayl” De Santi, vocal designer and vocal technique teacher Giulia “Jungla Samba” Sanna, and actress and diction and public speaking teacher Chiara “Chiarhappy” Benelli.

Through the often-overlooked form of the live set/DJ set in the realm of dissemination, it aims to offer the audience an immersive experience that delves into the depths of the popular folklore of our land.

MUNDIAA’s goal is not to merely reproduce what belongs to our cultural and musical roots in a sterile manner but to reinterpret and deconstruct it, to renew it. To bring the ancestral sound of a past that echoes into the present into the future.

The entire performance carries with it the ritualistic-pagan-mystical spirit of the folkloric celebrations of the peninsula.

By manipulating timbres, rhythms, and harmonic structures, it highlights the evident congruence between an ancient world and the contemporary ritual manifestations of the Rave Scene.

MUNDIAA is the lightning that brings the fire but uses the blazing flame to probe the darkness.
